Applications are now open for the King Saud University Initiative 2025/26 in Saudi Arabia. King Saud University (KSU), founded in 1957, is the first university in Saudi Arabia and is located in Riyadh. This initiative aims to attract talented PhD candidates from Saudi Arabia and around the world.

The fully funded program covers tuition fees, living expenses, accommodation, and health coverage. Applicants can start their studies in Fall 2025 (August) or Winter 2026 (January).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the general requirements set by the Deanship of Graduate Studies:

• Open to candidates from all countries
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• English Proficiency Test Scores (one of the following):
  • TOEFL (minimum 61 IBT)
  • IELTS (minimum 6)
  • STEP (minimum 85)
  • Waiver available for applicants with a Master’s degree from accredited institutions in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
• Two letters of recommendation
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Statement of Purpose
• Personal Interview
