UNIDIR Graduate Professional Program 2025, Switzerland
Applications are now open for the UNIDIR Graduate Professional Program 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland. This six-month training program is designed for international candidates and offers the flexibility to work remotely or on-site in Geneva. The program begins in May 2025 and provides a monthly stipend of USD 1331 for on-site participants and USD 665 for remote workers.
UNIDIR is seeking a Graduate Professional to support research, reporting, and outreach activities related to Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS). No professional work experience is required, and applicants do not need to submit an IELTS score. There is also no application fee.

Financial Benefits
The program provides a stipend to support living expenses:
- USD 1331/month for participants based in Geneva
- USD 665/month for remote participants

Responsibilities
- Conduct research on Youth, Peace, and Security topics
- Support stakeholder engagement with UN partners, civil society, and governments
- Assist in fundraising efforts
- Contribute to UNIDIR’s youth initiatives, including Youth 2030
- Help plan and organize events and outreach activities
- Manage communication, coordination, and administrative tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to applicants from all nationalities
- Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program (second university degree or higher)
- Recent graduates can apply if the program starts within one year of graduation
- Preference for backgrounds in international relations, political science, social sciences, international law, or gender studies
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign
- No prior professional work experience is required
